How to check IPO allotment status
-
1
Find your registrar
Check your application acknowledgement or the IPO's prospectus for the registrar's name — usually KFin Technologies, Link Intime, Bigshare, or Cameo. If you're not sure, BSE and NSE carry allotment data for every listed IPO.
-
2
Open the official page
Use the cards above to reach the registrar's real portal. This site never asks you to enter your PAN into a form we control.
-
3
Select the IPO and search
Pick the company name from the dropdown, choose PAN, Application Number or DP/Client ID, complete the captcha, and submit.
-
4
Read the result
You'll see shares applied versus shares allotted. Zero allotted means the amount blocked will be released back to your account, usually within a few working days.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check my IPO allotment status by PAN?
Open the official site of the registrar handling the IPO (or BSE/NSE), select the IPO name from the dropdown, choose PAN as the search type, enter your PAN number, complete the captcha, and submit. The result shows shares applied versus shares allotted.
Which registrar handled my IPO?
The registrar's name is printed in the Red Herring Prospectus and on your application acknowledgement. You can also check the allotment on the BSE or NSE website with the same PAN or application number if you're unsure which registrar to use.
When is IPO allotment status usually declared?
Allotment is typically finalised within one working day after the IPO closes and appears on the registrar's site the same evening, though weekends and holidays can push it back a day or two.
Does this website store my PAN or application number?
No. This site does not collect, transmit, or store your PAN or application number. It only points you to the official BSE, NSE, or registrar portal, where you enter your details directly on their site.
What if I don't get an allotment?
The blocked amount (ASBA/UPI mandate) is released automatically, typically within a few working days of the allotment being finalised. No action is needed on your part.
